10 Best CS:GO agent skins

10 Best CS:GO agent skins

Weapons, skins, stickers, and later gloves, have been a huge part of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive experience for many years. Many players focus as much on getting rare skins as they do on the gameplay itself. It is not surprising at all; thanks to these skins, we are able to customize our weapons and apply different stickers to them. We can even get different music kits, which allow us to replace most sounds in the game, such as the main menu theme, round start theme, won round theme, etc. Thanks to this, we are able to fully express ourselves and project our personalities into the game. Hence, Valve decided to take it one step further and introduce agent skins in 2019. As the name suggests, these skins alter the appearance of your in-game avatar. However, initially, players had mixed feelings about them. The first agent models were not balanced at all, and some of them had bigger hitboxes while others were much smaller. This detail threw the CS:GO balance out of the window. The issue was addressed by Ansimist, who presented his findings on Twitter.

Luckily, Valve reacted to this and modern agent skins are balanced. Since 2019, Valve has continued to introduce more and more agent skins, giving us even more options to customize our characters. We can also buy these skins on the Steam market. Though not yet as popular as weapon skins, some of them have already gained a cult status and are quite expensive on the market. Currently, the most expensive agent skin is Sir Bloody Miami Darryl, the Professionals, which costs about $70. In this article, we are going to provide you with 10 of the best CS:GO agent skins, based mostly on two criteria: popularity and looks.

1. Number K | The Professionals

It is hard to think of a more popular skin than Number K among the professionals. He is the real emperor of popularity and, due to his looks, he has also become the meme king of the CS:GO community. Number K appears to be based on Payday 2 and was introduced in the game on December 3rd, 2020 in the “Operation Broken Fang”. He is also a walking enigma, as none of his colleagues have seen his face. Hence, he is one of the most feared professionals, and his looks only prove the point. He wears a blue tie and blue shirt, but his most distinguished feature is the robber stocking he wears on his head. Thanks to this little piece of equipment, his face has never been revealed. Due to its increasing popularity, the skin is quite expensive; currently, it costs over $40.

2. ‘The Doctor’ Romanov | Sabre

If we talk about the most interesting and original agent skins, then it is impossible not to mention The Doctor Romanov, Sabre. This skin was introduced in CS:GO on November 18, 2019, alongside the "Operation Shattered Web" update. In the past, Romanov was a doctor responsible for smuggling drugs across borders. He has a chic coat, a stylish haircut, and amazing glasses, thanks to which he cuts a dashing figure. This agent skin just oozes personality, and that's why you should definitely consider investing in it. However, the best part of this skin is its price. The Doctor Romanov, Sabre skin is one of the cheapest agent skins on the Steam market, costing only about $6. Hence, anyone can afford it.

3. Lt. Commander Ricksaw | NSWC SEAL

This is the first counter-terrorist agent skin we are presenting in this article, and it packs a serious punch. The Lt. Commander Ricksaw, NSWC SEAL was introduced in the game on November 18, 2019, and it was among the first agent skins released alongside the "Operation Shattered Web" update. Ricksaw is the leader of the SEAL team and a symbol of professionalism and composure. He specializes in eliminating the most important targets and his face alone shows that he has survived many battles. He is a veteran, a hero, and a leader, and thanks to him, the entire team remains calm even in the most dire situations. If you want to be seen as a hardcore professional, then this skin is a perfect choice for you. Furthermore, it should be noted that this agent skin is also relatively affordable; Lt. Commander Ricksaw, NSWC SEAL costs only about $9. If you want to stand out on your team, then this is a skin you should definitely consider purchasing.

4. Sir Bloody Miami Darryl | The Professionals

Sir Bloody Miami Darryl, the Professionals, was introduced on December 3rd, 2020, and he immediately took the game by storm. He is the leader of the professional team, and his colleagues describe him as a cocky, smartass who does not care how much suffering he causes. He is like the Joker of CS:GO; for him, blowing up buildings and people is just like a fun weekend trip. You will be afraid of him; even if he is riddled with lead, he is still going to laugh in your face. He is a crazy maniac, and his look only proves this. He wears a floral shirt taken straight from '80s movies about Miami and a white hockey mask, thanks to which he looks like Jason Voorhees (the main villain of the Friday the 13th horror movie series) or Casey Jones (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles protagonist), and he would give Tommy Vercetti (from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City) a run for his money. Hence, it should not be surprising that it is the most expensive agent skin on the market, costing about $70.

5. Elite Trapper Solman | Guerrilla Warfare

The Elite Trapper Solman, Guerrilla Warfare was introduced in the game on September 21st, 2021, and was released alongside the "Operation Riptide" update. Solman was a tourist who was kidnapped on a Caribbean island. Due to his charisma, he negotiated his own release if he could bring additional hostages within 24 hours, and he did. He is a great-looking black guy in a Hawaiian flower shirt who wears fabulous sunglasses. While his charisma and good looks are impressive, Solman lacks empathy and can bring in the highest amount of money from ransom, which is why he became a part of the Guerrilla Warfare group. As he states, "You only need three things to fix a bad situation: money, charm, and a loaded weapon," and he lives by this rule. This agent skin is one of the most popular in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with hundreds of these skins sold on a daily basis. Still, it is relatively cheap; for Elite Trapper Solman, Guerrilla Warfare, you will only pay $16 on the Steam market. If you are a charismatic person who loves money, then this skin is a perfect choice for you.

6. Special Agent Ava | FBI

It is the second skin for the CT group and the first woman on the list. Special Agent Ava, FBI is really cute, but don't let that fool you; she is a cold-blooded expert and can pack a serious punch. Her colleagues initially underestimated her when she joined the FBI, but it quickly turned out that she was hardcore. After all, she had grown up with four older brothers in urban New Jersey. She received three out of five FBI Honorary medals, but she doesn't care about them at all. She enjoys simple things in life, like cold beer and shooting bad guys in the face. As Ava states, "They see me. They're confused. And then they're dead." Nowadays, she is a crucial element of her team, and her colleagues trust her with their lives. The Special Agent Ava FBI is one of the older agent skins in the game. It was first introduced on November 18th, 2019, and was released with the "Operation Shattered Web" update. Ava is well-loved by fans and is right behind Agent K in terms of popularity. Her model is slick and hard to notice in the game, which might give you a small advantage. Furthermore, she wears really dashing FBI gear, and to top it all off, her price for a Master agent is relatively low; you currently have to pay only about $13 to buy her on the Steam market. She is a symbol of girl power in CS:GO.

7. Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals

Our boy Darryl is back, and once again he looks simply astonishing. Before he became the leader of a worldwide feared gang known as "The Professionals," Darryl was simply known among bandits as "Bloody Darryl." Even back then, he was like a Joker in the CS:GO universe, and he was described as a friendly neighborhood psychopath. Yes, Darryl was a friendly guy. He would shake your hand, smile at you, and when you turned your back, he would slit your throat. Lovely guy, isn't he? The only thing crazier than Darryl himself is his appearance. In this version, Darryl wears a dark royal and gold shirt, but the most important feature is his snake mask with reptilian scales. "Bloody Darryl The Strapped" was introduced in the game on September 21st, 2021, and fans went crazy for it immediately. If you want to represent your crazy personality in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, then "Bloody Darryl The Strapped" is the perfect skin for you. It costs about $20 on the Steam market.

8. Safecracker Voltzmann | The Professionals

The second lady on this list and the symbol of professionalism is Safecracker Voltzmann from The Professionals, who was introduced in the game on December 3rd, 2020, alongside the "Operation Broken Fang" update. She doesn't care about shooting her enemies; she has other things in mind. After all, she is a safecracker and the technical mastermind in The Professionals' heist group. However, she is a bit weird; many assume that she is a savant. She is a genius who constantly mumbles to herself about the profit maximization paradox and other things that normal people are not able to understand. There is one thing that she loves more than opening locks: blowing things up. She wears sunglasses and her hair is as chaotic as she is. Her skin currently costs about $15, and if you are a professionalist to the core, then this skin is a perfect choice for you.

The Buckshot, NSWC SEAL was introduced in the game on November 18th, 2019 with the "Operation Shattered Web" update. Buckshot is a veteran of the SEAL Team and a "Weapons Sommelier", a master of weaponry who has tested every available military weapon. He loves guns and considers them his friends. His intimidating appearance alone is enough to strike fear in one's heart; he is built like a bear and his cold stare is more deadly than his weapons. The best thing about this agent skin, however, is its price; Buckshot, NSWC SEAL is among the cheapest agent skins available on the CS:GO Steam market, costing just $2.
